sad day

i just got back from dropping anika off at heathrow. i am really sad to see her go. we did so much in the 10 days she has been here. there were a few tears as i walked away from her. i think its a combination of me seeing her grow up, how smart and funny and wise she is, how connecting with people she is and the fact that i am not there for a part of it. i mean, its great that i am here in the uk....and i know i need to be. i just miss my sister. and home.
